Sunday Morning Announcements – January 15, 2012

     Today is our Fourth Quarter and Annual Business Meeting.  The 2011 Annual Report of the Elder Board as a supplement to the Fourth Quarter & Annual Report Packets is available on the back table.  Please pick one up in addition to the full report packet.

     The Emma Cornelius Hospitality House collection is today.  We are collecting dishes, pots and pans.

     Home Builders small group meets on Tuesdays @ 6:00pm.  See Pastor Dean for more information.

     Missionary Lloyd Peace will be here next Sunday, January 22 to deliver the message.  The church is looking for a family to host Lloyd and his wife, Athena, and their four children the evening before.  Please let the office know if you would be interested.

     Men’s Retreat, February 24 & 25.  More information will follow.

     We are in the process of updating our emergency prayer call groups.  If you would like to be added or deleted from the list, please fill out the form included in today’s bulletin and place it in the offering plate.  Also, let us know if you would like to be included in our prayer and communication email list.

      The men’s vocal group and the trumpets will practice on 1/22, 1/29, 2/5.  The ensemble will practice 3/4.

     The North Lee County Right to Life will be sponsoring the annual March for Life on Saturday, January 28 @ 10:30am.  They will meet at Central Park @ 10:15.

     Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and we need a few more goodies for the care packages to be sent to our college students.  The sign up sheet is on the back table and items are needed by Feb. 1

     Please save your Sunday comics for our college students. Put them on the coat rack by the office.  Also we’re asking that you don’t throw away your old Christmas cards!  They will be used on a bulletin board in the future. Please put them in the box on the coat rack by the office.
